Online Music Lessons Newbury

Zoom Online Music Lessons

Learn to sing or play an instrument in the comfort of your own home with our Online Music Lessons.

Whether you’re a new pupil or are currently having lessons, our team of dedicated and professional teachers use video web conferencing technology to deliver your learning remotely via the internet.

Utilising the powerful capabilities of Zoom, our online music lessons will keep you engaged and provide you with plenty of challenge without the need to leave your house. If you would like to join our virtual learning revolution, complete the form below and we’ll be in touch straight away.

We offer live online music lessons of 30 mins (£25 per lesson) or 60 mins (£50 per lesson) either weekly or as a one-off lesson.

Whether you are a beginner looking to start online music classes or you are a current student of our Newbury music school looking to change to having lessons online, we are happy to help you keep learning and keep playing from your home. You can even switch back to having face to face lessons at a later date if you wish.

Our professional DBS checked teachers can provide tuition for a variety of different instruments from electric guitar and acoustic guitar, to violin or piano, to drums or flute, and even singing lessons.

To be able to use Zoom for our online music lessons, all you need is an internet connection and a device with a camera and microphone that can connect to it. Zoom works on all devices (computers, laptops, tablets and phones) and across all platforms (PC, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android).

The easiest way is to use Zoom is through browser (we’ve found that Chrome is best - other browsers are available!) but you can also download the Zoom mobile apps for iPhone, iPad and Android and you can also get a desktop client version too.

See our how to guides below to find out about camera placement!

We’ve tried to make learning online as easy as possible. Once you have decided that you want to learn online with Hogan, simply fill out the form above and click submit. As you would expect, you and the teacher will need to abide by our safeguarding policy and lesson standards both of which can be found below.

Once your online music classes have been arranged at our end, we will be on contact to confirm the details. You will receive an email that contains a link to “Join Zoom Meeting.” Around 5mins before the start of your lesson, click the link and follow the instruction on the screen. You will join a waiting room ready to start your lesson. When the teacher is ready, they will start the lesson and you will be able to see and hear each other.
