Gretsch G2622T Streamliner Centre-Block Double Cutaway with Bigsby Torino Green
The Streamliners are a brand new range that have been added to the Gretsch lineup as of NAMM 2016. A superb value guitar, with all the traditional looks and tones of a classic Gretsch. This G2622T comes in a great - typically gretsch - Torino Green finish, has a double cut body and hollowbody with a centre block to keep you in tune and provide rich, warm tone. This a brilliant guitar, and it doesn't matter whether you're playing rhythm or lead, it can blend in, or cut through. It's also fitted with Broad'Tron Humbuckers, giving the guitar extra warmth, and bags of sustain.
In the 50s, the 6189, 6190 and 6191 Streamliners descended directly from the early ‘50s Electromatics. Along with the lower-priced Clipper they were the primary models shoring up the bottom end of the Gretsch line. Today they are great looking, well made guitars with character and style.
