Fender American Standard Stratocaster - Shawbucker, Rosewood Fretboard, Bordeaux Metallic
- Out of stock
Even though Fender's Stratocaster has a very rich illustrious history, the American Standard Stratocaster HSS Shawbucker manages to add yet another dimension to the legendary guitar model. Fender and Tim Shaw have bestowed it with a new type of humbucker: the Shawbucker. Thanks tot the ingenious tone control, both the humbucker and single-coil pickups are fully exploited to give the guitarist a phenomenal new tonal experience.
Naturally, this American Strat is made up of all the high-quality components you may expect from a proper Fender. Its alder body is attached to a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard that features 22 medium jumbo frets, a dual-action truss rod and a 9.5-inch fretboard radius. The renewed two-point tremolo sports friction-free steel bridge saddles and a solid steel block for a clear tone with plenty sustain. What's more, these saddles reduce friction and increase tuning stability. This guitar is available in several versions. You can choose either a rosewood or a maple fretboard and whether you want the body to be Black, 3-colour Sunburst, Ocean Blue Metallic, Bordeaux Metallic and, of course, this beautiful Sienna Sunburst.
The two Custom Shop Fat '50s single-coil pickups sound deliciously fat and vintage. Furthermore, they produce a higher output than classic alnico 5 single-coils, along with slightly more bass and a milder mid range. The Shawbucker offers you the ultimate modern humbucker sound. Thanks to this guitar’s ingenious tone circuit, you truly have the best of both worlds. Its potentiometers automatically switch between 250K (perfect for single-coils) and 500K (optimal humbucker territory) so you can have the best of the humbucker as well as sparkling single-coil sounds.
