Marshall invented the stack in response to complaints from The Who's roadies that Pete Townshend's custom built 8x12" cabinet was too hard to move.
Jim Marshall's simple solution was to cut the cabinet in half, and the stack was born.
The 1960V 280W cabinet contains 4x12" 70W G12 Vintage speakers, selectable Mono (16/4 Ohm impedance) / Stereo (8 Ohm impedance) options and is perfect for use with stereo rack systems.
